Amazing academy, they teach 3 styles, Line Salsa, Cuban Salsa and Bachata. They have very good classes for all levels that are 3 times a week and have socials almost every weekend and also on the 3 days after the classes. The instructors are very friendly and helpful and you can learn a lot in just a few weeks...

  • When can I join the dance classes?
    In Dublin Salsa Academy, we have courses available for beginners to advance level dancers. Beginner dance classes is 8 week course and you can join the beginner dance classes every first week of the month. Click here to view the dates when you can join the dance classes.
  • How can I pay for the dance classes?
    You can pay for the dance classes via Revolut or Cash. Once you sign up for the course, you will receive an email with the link of payment details. For cash payments, we accept cash at the door before initiation of the classes. If you have any further questions regarding payment then please contact us.
  • What should I wear to the dance classes?
    Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. For footwear, we recommend dance shoes or shoes with smooth soles to help with turns and steps. Avoid sneakers with too much grip.
  • I missed a class! What should I do?
    Usually the beginner lessons starts on the first week of every month and the enrolment lasts for the second week of every month. Here is the schedule for 2025. For joining any dance style during mid course you need to enquire for more information.
  • Is there parking facility available?
    Yes, we have car parking available at our venue.
  • What is your location?
    Dublin Salsa Academy is located in a prime location of Dublin. We are located at Harbourmaster, City Center, Custom House Quay, International Financial Services Centre, Dublin 1, D01 W0X8, Ireland Find us on Google Maps
  • How can I pay for the classes?
    You can pay for the dance classes at the door. We accept cash and payment through Revolut at the door.
  • Do I need a dance partner to join the classes?
    No, you don’t need a partner for any dance classes. We rotate partners in during Bachata, Line Salsa and Cuban Salsa so you get to dance with different people, which helps improve your skills and makes the learning experience more fun.
  • Are the classes suitable for complete beginners?
    Absolutely! Our beginner classes are designed for people with no prior dance experience. We offer three dance styles to choose from - Sensual Bachata, Line Salsa and Cuban Salsa. You’ll learn the basics step by step in a fun and welcoming environment.
  • What should I wear to the classes?
    Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. For footwear, we recommend dance shoes or shoes with smooth soles to help with turns and steps. Avoid sneakers with too much grip.
  • Can I try a class before committing to a full package?
    Yes! We offer a trial tests, so you can experience a dance lesson before deciding on a full package. Trial tests is available for all three dance styles taugh in our dance school - Sensual Bachata, Line Salsa and Cuban Salsa. Just check our schedule and join us for a session!
  • Where are the classes held, and is there parking available?
    Our classes are held at City center, Custom House Quay, International Financial Services Centre, Dublin 1, D01 W0X8, Ireland. Free and paid parking options are available nearby. Public transport routes are also convenient for getting to the venue.
  • Can I join mid-course or do I have to wait for a new term?
    Usually the beginner lessons starts on the first week of every month and the enrolment lasts for the second week of every month. Here is the schedule for 2025. For joining any dance style during mid course you need to enquire for more information.
  • How long does it take to become good at salsa or bachata?
    It depends on your dedication and practice. Most students feel comfortable after a few months, but regular practice and attending social dance events will help you improve faster.
  • What’s the difference between Sensual Bachata, Cuban Salsa, and Line Salsa?
    Sensual Bachata – Focuses on body movement, connection, and smooth, flowing steps. Cuban Salsa – Energetic and playful with a circular movement style. Line Salsa – Danced in a straight line with sharp turns and stylish footwork.
